I have been a member of the Rutgers University community for over 20 years since 2000 when I became both an undergraduate student and an employee for Dining Services. I went on to graduate in 2005 and accepted a position as a Dining Hall Supervisor which I still hold. Through my experience of both supervising HAFSME Local 888 employees, and being a member and Shop Steward of URA-AFT 1766 and member of last negotiation team, I have seen all sides of unionized labor management, and feel those experiences give me the drive and knowledge to be a successful member of URA-AFT 1766 executive board.
Currently in Dining Services I supervise an operation that brings in over $1 million per year in revenue. Outside of the University I have owned my own business and recently obtained a financial securities license passing SIE, Series 6, and Series 63 FINRA exams. I have full confidence that my past and current financial background make myself a qualified candidate for the position of Treasurer.
