Students Protest Corzine Budget Cuts

Around 100 students protested budget cuts in front of the Statehouse in Trenton on April 30. Students from county colleges, private colleges and public colleges all came together to demand that Governor Jon Corzine restore funding to higher education.

Lucye Millerand, president of Rutgers' union of administrators, told the students that the administration of Rutgers University stood with the students in their fight against the budget cuts.
