"Your request to URA to create a hardship/compassionate fund for members in crisis and layoff has been heard. We want to provide support for members facing stress related to layoff and other life situations.Will you help?

Jenkins is chair of the newly formed outreach committee and would like participation from each region (she said that is "admission-speak" for Newark, New Brunswick and Camden) to join in this important work. "Our first task is to develop criteria that will be used to determine who is eligible for support and how these funds will be awarded," she said.
